CRT 222 Additional Projects
Below are all of the additional projects I created for CRT 222 Methods and Materials. I have compiled all of them in this document and included the appropriate projects under their respective sprints.
Plastic Sprint
For the extra projects in the plastic sprint I decided to make extra organizers and inserts from the political signs and vacuum-former. In addition to these I also made Ahsoka's lightsabers form Star Wars the Clone Wars using PLA and a 3D printer.
Fabric Sprint
For the extra project in the fabric sprint, I decided to make some T-shirts that I would wear on a daily basis. This semester I have focused on creating things that I will consistently use and not just leave on a shelf or throw away and this was the perfect opportunity to do this with clothing.
Metal Sprint
For the extra project in the metal sprint, I decided to make some simple throwing knives with different wraps around the handles. I have always loved learning to throw knives and I took this time design and fabricate some of my very own. The designs were created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Wood Sprint
For the extra projects in the wood sprint, I decided to make a carved cardinal, a dove release box shaped like a chapel, and nesting boxes for my parents. They both raise doves and release them at special events but they needed something better than a wicker basket for releases and nesting boxes for the breeding doves we separated from the rest. I was able to work on these while at home on weekends over this past semester with my dad.
